How the flywheel works
01
Every trade pays the platform
Each coin on Apex Family charges a 1–5% trade fee. Whatever the fee, 0.3% of the volume goes to the platform treasury — enforced by the hook contract, not by policy.
02
50% becomes buyback budget
Half of the platform revenue is dedicated to buying $APEX on the open market. The other half funds development, infrastructure and growth.
03
Bought back on chain
Buybacks are executed on chain from a public wallet, so every purchase is visible on the explorer. Rules for what happens to bought-back tokens are published before launch.
Why $APEX is different
- Bought on the open market. The buyback wallet buys $APEX like any other participant — no minting, no special allocation, no privileges.
- Backed by protocol revenue. Demand for $APEX grows with the volume of every coin on the platform, not with a single meme.
- Transparent by default. The buyback budget is computed from public on-chain numbers you can verify on the Analytics page at any time.
Revenue math
Platform revenue = 0.3% × total volume across all coins. Buyback budget = 50% × platform revenue.
